This Privacy Policy explains how Talk2Mee ("Talk2Mee", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the Talk2Mee mobile app, web app, and website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Who we are

Talk2Mee is operated by Mastermind. For privacy questions, contact us at support@talk2mee.com.

2. Information we collect

• Account and sign-in: phone number, one-time codes, Google sign-in identifiers, account status, and session/device information.
• Profile: name, date of birth, gender, bio, photos, city, interests, languages, and who you want to meet.
• Activity: messages, message requests, call metadata (participants, time, duration, status), voice-room participation, blocks, reports, and profile discovery impressions.
• Payments: coin balance, purchases, gifts, creator earnings, payout details, and transaction references. Card and payment credentials are handled by Google Play, not by us.
• Device and usage: app version, platform, IP address, approximate network location, crash and performance data, and analytics events.
• Safety: verification selfies, report details, and moderation records. Selfies are used only for verification review.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• create and secure your account and verify your phone number;
• operate discovery, messaging, consent-based calls, live voice rooms, and the creator portal;
• process purchases, creator earnings, and payout requests;
• keep the community safe, including detecting underage accounts, investigating reports, and preventing abuse, fraud, and spam;
• provide support and respond to privacy requests;
• measure and improve the Service; and
• comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms.

4. Legal bases

We process personal information with your consent, to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as safety, fraud prevention, and service improvement. You can withdraw consent at any time, but this does not affect processing that already happened.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell personal data. We share limited information with:

• Other members: your profile, availability, messages, and call participation, according to your privacy settings and actions.
• Service providers: Firebase and Google (sign-in, analytics, Play billing), Cloudflare (media relay and object storage), SMS delivery providers, and our hosting provider.
• Legal and safety: authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to prevent harm, including reporting confirmed child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
• Business changes: a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the Service.

6. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

7. Retention

We retain account and profile data while your account is active. Account deletion deactivates your profile immediately and erases personal data after a 30-day grace period, except records we must keep for safety, fraud prevention, financial, or legal reasons. Reports, moderation, and safety records may be kept longer where necessary.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, secure secret storage, and abuse monitoring. No system is completely secure; please keep your phone and account credentials safe and report suspicious activity.

9. Your choices and rights

• Control discovery, age visibility, online status, analytics, and who can call or message you in Settings.
• Block or report anyone from profiles, messages, calls, and rooms.
• Request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data. You can delete your account in Settings or through our account-deletion page.
• Contact support@talk2mee.com for privacy requests. We may need to verify your identity first.

10. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses limited cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and analytics. The app uses Firebase Analytics, which you can turn off in Settings → Privacy → Usage analytics.

11. Children and age limit

Talk2Mee is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will remove it. Report suspected underage accounts immediately using Report or by emailing support@talk2mee.com.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email before they take effect. The "Last updated" date shows the current version.
