Safety & Guidelines

Last updated: 8 November 2026

Talk2Mee is built around consent, respect, and real conversations. These guidelines explain what we expect from every member, the tools you have to stay safe, and how to report a problem. They apply everywhere in the app: profiles, discovery, messages, calls, and live rooms.

Our safety commitments

  • Adults only: Talk2Mee is for people aged 18 and over. Date of birth is required at signup.
  • Consent before connection: calls are requests. They connect only after the other person accepts.
  • Block and report everywhere: every profile, message, call, and room has reporting tools. Reports are private and reviewed by our safety team.
  • Real moderation: violations can lead to a warning, suspension, or permanent ban.

Community guidelines

Do:

  • be kind, honest, and respectful;
  • use your own recent photos and accurate profile information;
  • ask before calling, and accept a “no” gracefully;
  • respect other people's boundaries and privacy.

Do not:

  • harass, bully, threaten, stalk, or abuse anyone;
  • post hate speech, violence, or discrimination;
  • impersonate anyone, spam, scam, or run deceptive promotions;
  • share nudity or sexually explicit content, or any content involving minors;
  • record or share a call without the other person's permission and any consent required by law;
  • collect other people's information without consent;
  • break the law or interfere with the Service.

Child safety

Talk2Mee has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Do not create, upload, request, or share sexual content involving minors. Report suspected underage accounts or CSAE using Report on any profile, message, call, or room, or email support@talk2mee.com. We remove such content, suspend or ban accounts, preserve evidence where the law permits, and report confirmed child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or the relevant regional authority. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

Reporting and blocking

  • Report: open the profile or conversation menu and choose Report. Select a reason and add details. Reports are private; the other person is not told.
  • Block: blocking removes the person from discovery and closes shared calls and conversations. They cannot call or message you.
  • Urgent concerns: for immediate danger, contact local emergency services before using in-app tools.

Meeting safely

  • Meet in a public place for a first date and tell someone you trust.
  • Never share your home address, financial details, passwords, or identity documents.
  • Ask before calling or sharing photos. Consent matters.
  • Video calls can help you confirm who you are talking to before meeting.

Account and privacy controls

  • Control discovery, age visibility, and online status.
  • Choose who can call or message you: everyone, matches, or nobody.
  • Turn analytics on or off at any time.
  • Delete your account in Settings or via our account deletion page.
